Day 1 ARRIVAL
On your
arrival you will at the Kilimanjaro International Airport you will
be met by our representative and after helping you with the
immigration formalities he will transfer you to your hotel around
Arusha where you will spend your first night in Tanzania. On arrival
you will be helped in the check in procedures and left to relax with
you safari starting tomorrow. Overnight at Out post lodge or Mount
Meru Game Lodge.
Day 02 Tarangire
At around 8.00 AM
After
breakfast we depart for Tarangire which is third largest national
park in Tanzania and a sanctuary for an unusually large elephant
population especially during the month of October when they migrate
to this park. There are also extra large baobab trees which are an
interesting feature of this national park, dwarfing the animals that
feed below them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River,
which is the only permanent water supply in the area ensuring a
constant presence of wild animals. There is a great diversity of
wildlife including lion, leopard, cheetahs and many more large
mammals and small alike.

Day 03 Arusha – Lake Manyara
Early in the morning at around 8.00 AM you will be picked up from
your Hotel and
drive across the Masaai Steppe and into the floor of the Great Rift
Valley to Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara National Park is
a beautiful park with lush vegetation and evergreen tropical forests
of giant fig trees, Sausage trees and mahogany trees, and it takes
its name from the Maasai name for "euphorbia tirucalli", a bush
which is used to make a thorny hedge to protect their cattle. Among
the animals that are sighted in this park include the baboons.
Bushbucks, sitatungas, elephants, giraffe, buffalo, zebra and many
other antelopes as well as monkeys. This national park is also a
birders have with an abundance of among other species; the
flamingos, pelicans, hornbills, weavers many more. If you are lucky
enough you will get the rare chance of sighting the legendary tree
climbing Lions on the branches of the Acacia trees. Overnight at
Popo Safari Lodge, Lake Manyara Hote or Kirurumu Tented Camp.
Day
04 Ngorongoro
After an early breakfast you will
drive to the Ngorongoro
Crater where you will have a brief stop for registration
formalities. There after you will drive on to the rim and descend
into the crater for a
memorable game drive
inside the Ngorongoro Crater
often described as ‘The Eighth wonder of the world’ Ngorongoro
Crater is the world’s largest intact unbroken volcanic caldera and
it serves as a natural sanctuary for the densest population of
animals in Africa. This is one of the few places where the rare
black rhino can be observed in their natural setting.
Very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft.
high walls. Among the mostly spotted animals include prides of
lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos,
antelopes, many birds and other species. If you are lucky the ‘Big
5’; can be spotted in a single day.

Day
05 Serengeti
This day
will be on your way to the most famous game park in Tanzania;
Serengeti National Park. On your way you will pass via the Olduvai
Gorge often reffered to us ‘The Craddle of man kind’ where Dr Louis
Leakey and his wife Mary made the world famous archaeological
excavations of hominid fossils dating about a million and a half
years ago suggesting that ideed the first man lived in Africa. You
will be making a brief stop also for your picnic lunch on a kopje in
the plains of Serengeti you will continue further into the park and
go on a game drive.
Apart from
the migration of the herds you can expect to see resident herds of
wildebeestes, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, baboons,
hippos, rhinos, antelopes and many birds and her species.

Day 06 & 07
Serengeti
A typical
Serengeti full safari day entails an early morning game drive
at dawn where you can get a chance to see also nocturnal predators
returning from hunting and animals waking up in early morning light
then go back to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast you will go
back for full day of game drives in the plains of Serengeti. On a
lucky day you can spot the Big 5. Depending on your preferences you
can have picnic lunch on the rock outcroppings commonly referred to
as the Kopjes or if it’s your choice: you can go back to the lodge
for lunch before going back for further game
drives.

08 Serengeti-Zanzibar.
day
you go for the last early morning game drive and breakfast you will
be transferred to Seronera airstrip in the Serengeti, for your
flight to Zanzibar.
Transfer to Ocean Paradise Resort, Kendwa Rocks and Kipepeo beach

Day
09 - 12 Beach Extension
Spend these days relaxing at Zanzibar with plenty of beach
activities and water sports.
Day 13 Spice Tour
After breakfast you
will check out of your beach hotel and drive to the Spice
plantations for a tour of this legendary plantations. Your guide
will amaze you with the unmatched wealth of knowledge about the
history of the plantations and the plant species that are grown in
these plantations.
Overnight at Kipepeo beach lodge/Kendwa rocks . Breakfast and lunch
Day 14
Zanzibar Town
In
the morning
you will be guided
through the ancient streets and alleys of this old town which is now
recognized as a world heritage site by the UNESCO. You will be shown
the mosques old fort the palace museums and the churches that tell a
history that will live on for all the years to come.
Overnight at Kipepeo
beach Lodge /Kendwa rocks .

Departure
Transfer to Kisauni Airport Zanzibar for your departure.
